Designed for the most innovative
applications, the Plasmavision 42 is unobtrusive and
can be the entertainment centerpiece or hidden when
not in use. Its state of the art technology and
theater-like format provide exciting entertainment
whether watching movies, playing video games, or
surfing the web.
The flat-panel display takes up much less space than
either a projection system for video or a CRT for
computer data, and becomes the single window that the
family uses to view network programming, surf the
Internet, play CD-ROM games and view high-quality
digital movies. The wide aspect ratio of the display
is ready for DVD and other digital programming. In
addition, a special feature of the Plasmavision 42
allows it to enhance incoming image data (such as the
standard 640 x 480 output of a computer) by
dynamically resizing it for the wider format.
